Atypical Presentation of Cervical Pott’s Disease: A Case Report

Tuberculous spondylitis, also known as Pott’s disease, is due to infection of the spine by mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB) leading vertebral body and inter-vertebral disc destruction. It most common form musculoskeletal frequently affecting thoracolumbar commoner in young people. Onset this condition insidious its clinical presentation non specific. However, disease may be complicated neurologic deficits including paraplegia or even quadriplegia, with huge health, economic psychological burden. Following a case report involving cervical 33-year old farmer presenting unusually negative Mantoux test. reported because very uncommon highly treatable, there need for raised index suspicion order diagnose early, thus limiting complications. The role MRI diagnosis highlighted.
